Consultancy - Security Reviews
A security review involves a detailed examination of the cost-effectiveness
and adequacy of all aspects of your security. The start-point
for each review is a realistic assessment of the threats that
your Company may face, taking into account your location and products/services,
as well as the latest assessments of terrorist and activist threats.
This assessment forms the basis for the remainder of the security
review, focusing on those threats that you need to be most concerned
about. If a particular type of threat does not apply to your Company,
we will not waste your time and money recommending measures that
you simply do not need to consider.
You will be provided with a detailed report that explains any
weaknesses in your security arrangements, together with recommendations
for improving security in the most cost-effective way. Recommendations
will be pragmatic and will be prioritised to assist you in formulating
a security improvements programme in a structured manner. Whenever
possible, a range of options will be suggested so that you can
achieve the optimum balance between the ideal situation and standards
that are adequate and are affordable within your budget.
The review will include:
- Physical security and crime prevention measures.
- Security systems (CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, duress
alarms, etc) and associated policies, procedures and, where appropriate,
legislative matters.
- Security guarding, including vetting, recruitment and training
standards, assignment instructions and operational procedures.
- Security of employees and visitors, including emergency procedures,
safety of executives, security measures for business travellers
and, where appropriate, the security of overseas expatriate residential
accommodation.
- Information security.
- Security of other high-value assets, such as specialist stores,
art collections, etc.
- Security of vital utilities.
